For the longest time I had no clue what a blog was and I never really understood the concept. It wasn’t until high school that I really understood the purpose of blogs; to connect with others and share views.
The first blog that I followed, Lilly Pulitzer CK, did just that. Kirsten, a preppy teenager blogged about her love for the designer label Lilly Pulitzer while offering fashion tips to her readers. Because of Kirsten's vibrant personality and my equal love for Lilly her blog and Instagram posts were something I enjoyed checking regularly.
All of Kirsten's pictures were extremely colorful and her blog was relatable to many other preppy loving teenagers like myself.

After following Kirsten's blog for a couple of years I was thinking of writing my own, although on a different topic. In my senior year of high school I had to create a blog on an interest I had, I chose to do mine on Pit bulls.

When I chose to research about Pit bulls my senior year I knew it would be hard for me. I would be spending a lot of time on something that makes me sad and angry because of the amount of people who abuse Pit bulls. Following through with this senior assignment caused many hours of frustration for me.

Flash forward to freshman year of college and I am asked to create a blog and immediately I think of writing about Pit bulls. The problem for me with researching even more about Pit bulls for another blog is that I would get frustrated, angry and sad again while doing my homework.
So, in the end I thought of another one of my interests, blogs. I love learning about different cultures, experiences and stories and therefore I thought blogging about blogs would be really fun for me. Although, I hope my blog will be fun for my readers too and I will try my best to include a lot of enjoyable pictures.
